Hey, no you can entirely close the Van. But I left the frontpart of the matress as big as possibile, so you will have to slide the front seats quite much towards the windshield and when the backseats are used, the matress will fit into the car but cannot lie flat in the back (as intended in the beginning) ... But on the other side, you have a full bed of the size 140 x 190 cm (4.6 x 6.2 ft)!
