Smores Galore

Howdy Campateers,
I'm not really a "smore" lover. Once in awhile they're okay, but since my bride is a fancy-sassy care-giver, we don't really eat lots of sugar anytime anyway, but I found this site for Smores Galore! Check it out if you wanna.

We got lazy with smores and I got tired of having the marshmallow squirt out when I tried to bite down on the graham cracker sandwich. We now use the one-sided chocolate covered cookies from Le Petit Ecolier available in the grocery stores. We prefer the dark chocolate variety. One cookie to a crispy brown marshmallow is smore perfection!! Just the right ratio of chocolate to cookie to marshmallow and no squishing because there's only one cookie to bite through.

Of course, the end result is still in the hands of the chef. A great foundation can still be ruined by a burnt or 1/2 cooked marshmallow.

Cheating on s'mores.. Delicious or not, something just isn't right about that. I felt somewhat bad when I tried using peanut butter cups instead of the traditional hershey bar.
