  • Murphy's Laws & Camp Cooking

Here another place to add some words of camp cooking wisdom or lack thereof. Here my contribution to get it started:

Propane/butane tanks that are full when they are packed, will unexplainably empty themselves before you can reach the campsite.

All foods assume a uniform taste, texture, and color when freeze-dried.

Invariably, you will forget the ketchup when you are having hot dogs and burgers.

You cannot successfully determine beforehand which side of the bread to butter.

No matter where you camp, the local ants will invite themselves to your food!

AND.... if you set a water bottle down in hot weather and it has condensationon it, the ants will be all over it too!
