  • Campfire cooking with a rotisserie

Here's a rotisserie I designed and had a friend make out of stainless steel. Works great with NO MOTOR! The disc on the side has four holes for rotating every few minutes. The pins hold the disc/spit rod in place. Totally adjustable side to side (to span the fire) as up & down. Only glitch is that when you and the wife take turns rotating - be sure to turn the same direction!! Else two side get REALLY done!
As a new member, don't want to intrude, but share and look for new ideas.

    thanks

    How cool is that!
I've been salivating over the Weber rotisserie attachment yet have been put off by the need for electricity w/ that unit.
Will you be marketing your invention and is the firepit portion of it home/shopmade ?
Every portable fire pit I see online seems to not have a floor which is a requirement where I camp.
