I need your help.

I'm a student in Chicago about to spend my summer as far away from the city as possible. I'm a college student so I'll be taking buses and getting rides from friends around the midwest and New England to places like the Flambeau Flowage in Wisconsin and the forests and rivers outside of Kansas City Missouri.

I'm looking for the perfect hiking/camping pack. It doesn't need to be super expensive or full of high-tech gadgetry. What I really need is a pack that has room for a one-person tent and sleeping bag, along with other essentials. I doubt that anybody sells all three together, so I would also really like suggestions for a good one-person tent. I have a sleeping back but it is unnecessarily bulky.

So please campingforums enthusiasts, a pack, a tent, a bag. Any combination of these things, help me find it online!
