hello all, we are looking for campsites that we can take our dog to, we like bush style areas where we can have fires, looking for mainly spots no more than 2-3 hours from Alaska. any ideas would be great appreciated.

You can always take your dog camping with you but most organized campgrounds and national parks insist that pets be kept on a leash at all times. If I had a dog I would always take him with me and look for dispersed or free camping areas in the area that I like to go camping in, that is southern Nevada. I would check BLM in the USA but for Canada I'm not for sure where to check. Just the same welcome to the campfire. What kind of dog do you have and do you tent camp, backpack, or trailer camp?
