Camping trip September to Yellowstone,help please.

Hi all, we are looking into a camping trip starting fron SLC going to Yellowstone,Grand Tetons,Capitol Reef,Goblin Valley in early September.As we are flighing in from the UK we will have to purchase a full camping outfit, tents,stove etc, have looked at the Walmart web site and looks like we can buy a kit for about $300. Are the tents they sell the Ozark range ok ?. will bring a few things with us but the bulk will have to come from SLC area.
At the end of the trip will try to find a good place to pass on the gear any idear of good people to give it too. Any charity shops that sell camping equipment that we could use even to buy from ?.

Will look up the site you have passed on.It would be a shame if I have to just throw away gear that will only have 3 weeks use.
