Where are the older members???

Just scooting through the members list.......I see some members who have quite a few posts, some almost 200, but no activity since May.
One comes to mind is Chile Chef......what happened?......
We don't want to lose anyone!!

I think RDF can update us on ChileChef's haps.....
We don't hear from John-john much either..... but he's 'out there'...

But forums are like that - I see it on many. Longtime members get off onother interests, or some family business demands their attention for awhile. If we are lucky, they make their way back to the fold.

Good point Big Dog! People get their immediate questions answered and move on with their lives. The main camping season(summer) is over, children are back to school the tent's have been put away and people get busy with other interests. Chile Chef is really into DO cooking and has his own website and maybe he'll return, maybe he won't. There have been many times that I have only chatted with Big Dog, Jpurdy and few others, or just to myself for six months or more simply because people have other interests than just camping. But we just hang in there because you never know some body that really likes camping may just join up!
