Does anybody have any experience in joint ownership in a camper? Do you setup some LLC or another business entity to and then have people own membership in a club? Just do it on a handshake and hope everybody remains frieds? Setup some non-profit club like a local hunting and fishing club?
We have a big camper we take the family camping with, but the wife and I take a few trips a year without any kids and sometimes take the big camper which is overkill, or tent camp. We have several friends that also like to camp but do not own a camper and have little children or none at all.
We started tossing around the idea of a small group of us (6 couples) going together to purchase a small travel trailer like one of the Forest River R-Pods.
How would you all suggest going about doing this, or would you suggest not doing it and why? I'm open to any and all suggestions.
