Weekend Plans?

This weekend is a Federal Holiday: Columbus Day. If you aren't goin campin but will be doin stuff outdoors and wanna share it, post up your plans here. I'm going campin' but some of you aren't. Whatcha doing this weekend?

Florida state employees gotta work in the salt mines....... :o

My biggest camping weekend is on General Robert E.Lee's birthday weekend in mid-January. We get that weekend off as a three day holiday.

So Dawg...is that on Jan. 17th in 2011? That's the day the Federal employees have a holiday but it's known by a different name! What say you?:D

So what's shaken this(October 16 & 17) weekend for everyone?

We are taking the 350Z on a road trip to Oakland, California to see Michael Franks at Yoshi's Japanese Restaurant and jazz club. Gonna spend Saturday in Jack London Square and then cruise on back to Reno on Sunday! What about you?

:pSusan retired Monday and went backpacking until Saturday afternoon. We have family coming, starting Saturday morning.......

:DNext Monday, family leaves. Tuesday morning Susan and I leave for 7 days of backpacking in Washington. I'm keeping an eye on the weather in Washington.....
