Depends, if you are talkin about the bear proof boxes that are found in some national parks and forests, they are 4'x4'x4'x32" and weigh about 300 lbs. welded steel construction. These are then bolted to a rein-forced concrete slab
If you are askin about canisters that you can pack, say for car camping or backpackin, depends on the size and where you purchase them.
