  • Hot showers, anyone....?

Got my latest update on products from The Sportsman's Guide catalog company - this one caught my eye! I've been trying to reduce power use in the casa, and have been considering a 'tankless water heater' system. A bit expensive though. But this one looks very interesting - actually they have two models.
I'd go with the deluxe model for home use - but I got to thinking, the portable unit would be a very nice addition to a basic car-camping or pop-up camper system. Lots of campsites have a water spigot - but no hot water without having to trudge over to the bath house. Here, you could set up your own private mini-shower at your site!

The prospect of hot water for doing dishes, and a nice hot shower on demand - a priceless thing for the spousal units, methinks! Could make it a lot easier to get the missus into the great outdoors! :D

Yep, this one looks more versatile for camping - the pump could be used in a pond or lake, and it still offers the hose/spigot adapter for campsite use.
Basically, just choose the hard-case or soft-case. I like the shower rig too.

Thanks for the info - I added it to my archive.

I know a feller out west who runs a motorcycle tour company using my type of KLR bike - with Sidecars! :D
But nah, it's not for me. If I ever get some time after the holidays, I am still trying to work up a small trailer to tow behind it. A water heater/shower would be really ridiculous on a MC roadtrip though...... The other riders would be unmerciful in their mirth........
