  • Outbound Tents

We are expanding our product offer, and adding Outbound, to our store.

I’m looking for feedback anyone has on the line, weather you have used it yourself, or based on product descriptions/photos from their website.

Without going into specific models, we are going to be ordering some tents/shelters, sleeping bags, and backpacks.

We would appreciate any and all thoughts on the brand.

    Re: Outbound Tents

Thanks HS. I did see those reviews. Some of the negative reviews seemed to be knit picky, and some were valid points. The positives were encouraging. But I take all online reviews with a grain of salt.

I know that these tents are not going to be the extreme upper end of tents, such as Kodiak. But to me they seemed to be a good value. One thing I looked at was the waterproof rating and taped seams. Many of the models we are bringing in have a hydrostatic head rating of 2000mm on the fly and 5000 on the floor. These numbers are as high, and in many cases higher than a lot of the big name brands we looked at.

What I would like is the opinions of people that know tents. And based on many of the conversations I’ve read here on CF many of the members know tents.
