Shade Tarp

Hello...Looking for a good tarp to use for Shade and rain.

I have a Kelty Noahs Tarp 16. It makes what looks like shad but when you get under it, it doesn't keep out the heat..can still feel the suns rays and the heat.

Thinking about just getting another Blue one....(or other color)

Compared to no tarp, any tarp is a good tarp including the plastic blue ones.

I have one that is brown on one side, reflective on the other. I put the reflective side towards the sky and it works out pretty well.
