    I never thought of Alaska as a crowded place. I guess that comes from living in the crowded southeast. You organized the questions well, but watch out VDF is on the mend and soon to go camping.
    thanks for sharing the trip. Hope your trip to calif. is a quiet one.

      it's crowded only if you don't want to see a single person within a hundred miles for 3 weeks haha!

        just looked at the Chicago Pics. thanks for sharing. it has been along time since I was there.

        It must have been interesting to be in the traffic after being in Alaska.:D
        Did you drive across Canada or the northern U.S. ??

          We drove into the corner of Montana, then North Dakota, then south dakota, and then over to Chicago. Now we're in Tucson! I'll be arriving home tomorrow! :( Check out the new pics on the web page!

            more great shots. It looks like everyone had a good time. It had to feel like you were home when those dirt roads stretched out to the horizon and the pronghorn antelope were present.
            How close were you able to get to the antelope for those pictures?

              We were pretty close but in the pictures they were about 50 yards out.
