Yea! Just got a marmot never summer, and dang is it a nice and cozy bag. I need to keep this thing forever. So proper maintenanceis required. I took a look on the interweb and hangers for sleeping bags are 20-30$. Plus shipping. No good. So I made my own! Easy as pie.
5.25 ft of half inch copper tubing, 4 90degree elbows, and 2 caps and one reg. threaded hook. Total cost ~$15
I measured the inside width of the bag, measured the point the zipper stops at the bottom to the bottom, and then soldered all the pieces together. Lastly, painted it green, and going to add a few coats of clear coat to make it last.
I'll be building another one for my girlfriends bag, and will do a more detailed write up for the DIY section.
