Hi! We're taking our two daughters camping this weekend for the first time, and we're very excited. (They are almost 3 years old and 15 months old.)
We've ordered two Thermarest MondoKing XXL mattresses, which are each 31" wide and 3-4" thick. I've looked at couplers online and am seeking recommendations. The Exped coupling kit looks good but it won't arrive in time for this weekend if I order it. Thoughts on this or another commercial coupler?
Does anyone know of a good DIY way to couple two big mattresses? I'm thinking velcro...I do have a sewing machine, although I'm far from skilled at using it.
Also seeking sage advice on taking two toddlers camping!
(We'll be camping in the area around the Upper Delaware in New York or PA near Narrowsburg between the Catskills and Poconos...any tips for camping in this area is also welcome!)
