Space Bags
We use "space bags" to store blankets and pillows in our pop-up trailer. Space bags are the weather and air tight bags that you can vacuum out all the air out to flatten items such as pillows, blankets and comforters. You can buy 'space bags" at Target in the camping section.

I also use the space bags, but since I don't usually have a vacuum cleaner when camping I get the vacuum bags that you squeeze the air out of.
They work pretty well, but they don't seem to last more than two trips before springing a leak somewhere. I did have one of the bags that was made in Japan (rather than the Walmart variety made in China). The Japanese bag lasted a long time until we through it out by accident.
