Endangered Species Coalition Lists 10 Species Endangered By Climate Change

A small turtle from the eastern U.S. A species of trout native to Glacier and North Cascades national parks. Grizzly bears. A prairie orchid. These are among the ten plant, fish, animal, and bird species listed in a new report as being the "hottest" species imperiled by climate change.

Hyperbole aside, the report from the Endangered Species Coalition is just the latest warning of extinctions throughout the "wild kingdom" that will occur unless climate change is muted. Similar reports were issued earlier this year by the National Parks Conservation Association and the Natural Resources Defense Council. A new focus in this latest report is how the authors looked at species already listed as either "threatened" or "endangered" under the Endangered Species Act.

The really sad thing is the sheer magnitude of money that will be utterly wasted by TPTB fighting the Climate Change scam. Oh yes, it IS occuring - but to think man is the primary causal factor is the height of cheek, and to think puny man can 'reverse' a totally natural process is utterly laughable. Some parts of the world are heating, some parts are getting colder - not arguing that.
Improve energy efficiency - YES! Reduce waste and pollution - YES!
But to fight nature - that usually does not bode well for the fools trying it.
We should learn to adapt, and if necessary, move some populations to safer areas - the Government of The Maldives and other very low island nations are already doing that. They know to NOT wait for the UN to find that tilting at huge windmills is a waste of energy and resources that small nations simply cannot afford.

Al Gore should be hung by his thumbs over a gator hole for the scam he is perpetuating on this old world. :mad:
