Actually, when I was working at the Nevada Test Site where they tested nukes and I took photos...I spent a few nights at Groom Lake(Area 51). The Air Farce is very strict about photos and all of what I photographed was top secret stuff! I can say no more than that!

About working at the Test Site, just ask my bride "Desert Rose". She'll swear that I still, glow in the dark! Ha ha!!:D:D

Moderating from Reno!

Howdy Campateers, command has been re-established and I'm back on-line in Reno, Nevada! Still known as "vegasdesertfox" or "VDF" or Brent, or "Coop". And so far to-date I am still the mod here...so carry on like before! If I can be of service drop me a pm or just plainly...get camping! Let's go camping!

Here's a couple of photos from Goldfield, NV. Goldfield had a population of 20,000 people between 1905 - 1940. There is a small population there now of about 300 people. Plenty of old buildings to see wish I had more time, but had to drive on, Goldfield is about 1/2 half way between Reno and Las Vegas.

Howdy Campateers, I left Las Vegas this morning for good, said goodbyes to the mansion, at 3:30 AM pulling a 5x8 with the last load of _ _ _ _ (stuff). Rolled into Reno 11:30 AM! So now I'm here digging through boxes! Looking for camping gear, let's all go camping! Going from a 6 bedroom house to a two bedroom house has been, is still..... a lot of work! I wish I was camping!..........."Hey, Desertrose, did we pack the camping stuff?..........I can't find any of it?...................:rolleyes:
