So glad I found this site! Our 1991 RV, which was stored, got a water leak and mildew. Have to dumpster it.
I must admit that I did not like RV camping- lined up like sardines in these big family entertainment parks.
We are heading out this summer from CT to SC to a beach house for a week. I want to camp on the way and want to go back to tent camping.
That is the kind of camping I did in my twenties, thirties, and 40's. But now I am thinking, hey, just because my younger days are over does not mean that I cannot tent camp and get into some more rustic, nature oriented places.
So long RV. Hello tent. I'm stoked!
