  • s and wind equals lots of fun

We got to our site around six on Friday. Little drizzle and wind gusts of 50 MPH made for a fun time setting up our tent. There are three families camping this time and both theothers have the instatent by Coleman. They had everything set up right away and we were making baby steps getting our tent set up. Finally got it up and it started spooring rain. We were hungry and decided to go into town and get something to eat instead of trying to get a fire going in the rain.

When we get home the family is going to set up and take down the tent ten times to make sure everyone of the girls knows exactly how to do it!

It was windy all night and day so far but the sun is coming out and tomorrow is supposed to be nice.

Hope everyone else is having a great labor day weekend

ah the good times nothing like tent camping we had a major storm in the adiorandics ny the tent was a swamp that we slept in the middle of a dam made out of clothes not funny then but now all we do is talk about it and laugh!!!!

Our Labor Day weekend was the best in terms of everything! Perfect weather! Only a few other tents near us and not a single trailer, cab-over, or RV in site! We filtered just 12 liters of water from Yuba River, had fresh trout every night! Took my back medicine like a good camper and had no problems! And we didn't take our 'puter with us! Nights in the upper +30s and days into the lower +70s!
