Can't figure out this tent! please help

    Can't figure out this tent! please help

    This tent belongs to my girlfriend; left for her by her father. Unfortunately when we opened the bag we discovered there are no poles or assembly instructions and both of us being novice campers we have no idea how to go about putting it up. I had no luck finding a manufacturer website or much info at all about the brand "wilderness trails". Any help at all would be greatly appreciated.

    It appears to be an off brand. The cost of replacement poles are probably not worth it for this tent.

      There appear to be a few holes in the tent in picture #4. I found a reference to Wilderness Trails tents in a USA Today article, and some people think they remember a brand by that name being sold at K-Mart in years gone by. I also would not think it would be worth the effort to find poles, unless it would be for sentimental reasons.

        sell it on ebay. Some goof has the poles and no tent I bet. :-)

          Here is the only photo of this tent we could find. We would like to be able to use this tent mostly for sentimental reasons so if anyone knows where this type of poles can be purchased please let me know. All I've been able to find so far is the sectional ones with the shock cords.

          Also, those are just dried up leaves in the 4th picture, not holes in the tent

            I'm pretty sure this is what our tent is supposed to look like, except i don't know what to call this type of poles. any ideas?

                roo, that looks like a good match. What a challenge to restor that baby. Plus you will need a tarp or rain fly of some kind.

                Ever seen that show on tv: american restoration?.....
