I found a great website for locating campsites. The problem is that most of the ones I looked at (in Oregon, at least), don't open until May and I am beginning this adventure in March. Can I just set up camp wherever I want or are there laws prohibiting me from doing so? I may end up doing a lot of sleeping in the car (I have decided that I will be driving). I just don't know if I can park my car wherever I want to for the night or if that's a no-no.
