We camped along the Current River last year for the sole purpose of a float trip down this cold water river! We had made all of our reservations for both the camp site and the tube trip. When we arrived, we had the best site we could ask for on the river but the tube trip somehow didn't make the ledger. To make up for it, the manager comped our camp site for the two nights we were there and gave us some free fire wood. Sounded like a great deal to us! Even though we didn't get the full river trip we were able to play in the frigid waters during one of our heat waves!
