Camping/hiking at Ministers Creek or Hearts Content Trails in the Tionesta area of Pennsylvania when the colors start to change is just wonderful. Not long hiking trails, 5 to 10 miles of loop trails tops, but the scenery is great. There are areas that you climb some natural rock steps. Great place for beginners to get a taste of backpack camping. You can primitive camp there by permit, which I highly recommend. Just remember to bear proof your area, as you are in there territory.
